Who We Are
Race Huron is a non for profit organization that holds trail race events in Huron County, Ontario (Ontario’s West Coast). The committee is comprised of people who love both endurance sports and the area we live in, and want to share both of those things with as many people as possible.
Huron County is home to several absolutely amazing trail systems, including the Maitland Trail, The Falls Reserve, The Goderich to Auburn Rail Trail (GART), and many more. It is also situated on Lake Huron, boasting beautiful sunsets and amazing beaches.
Race Huron currently hosts two races, The Bad Thing which is a point-to-point technical trail race, along the Maitland Trail; offering two options 25K & 50K; and The Night Thing, a 7K or 12K race, that starts at night.
If you are looking for a great place to run and hike look no further than Huron County.
